Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the LYC Foundation is qualified to receive tax-deductible donations. 

Can I name the LYC Foundation as a beneficiary in my will?

Yes! Our legal name is Lighthouse Youth Center Foundation, Inc. Our Tax ID number is 27-5370795

Does LYC Foundation accept gifts of stock?

Yes! Lighthouse partners with National Christian Foundation to process stock gifts. Gifts are liquidated upon receipt and the funds are invested according to the LYC Foundation investment policies.  

What are the tax benefits of giving stock?

Gifts of appreciated stock may allow you a tax deduction of the entire current value of the stock while avoiding capital gains taxes. What is the minimum gift?

Every gift is important. Donors thinking about making their first gift to the LYC Foundation shouldn’t underestimate the impact of a $5, $50 or $500 gift.

What areas can I support?

Unrestricted gifts provide LYC Foundation with the most flexibility to respond to ministry opportunities. We also have funds designated to support [Leadership, Student, Staff, and Expansion initiatives.]  

Will LYC Foundation be able to use my gift for a designated purpose?

LYC Foundation makes reasonable efforts to satisfy donor recommendations. LYC Foundation reserves the right to use donated funds for any organizational purpose whenever a donor recommendation cannot be practically carried out. Contact us [by clicking the button below] to learn more about our gift acceptance policy.
